ICC MEN'S T20 WORLD CUP 2024 WEST INDIES AND UNITED STATES
The T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to be co-hosted by the West Indies and the United States from June 1-29. Organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup will see 20 teams compete in a total of 55 matches.The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 will have a total of 20 qualifying teams who will be playing the matches. The teams will get divided into 4 groups and each group will have a total of 5 teams. The qualifying teams will take a slip in 2 groups of 4.20 teams have been divided into four groups of five each. The tournament will be played in two phases before moving into the knockout stages. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the World Cup, while the third-placed and fourth-placed teams of each group will advance to the fourth round. Fourth round: The six teams that advance from the third round will be divided into two groups of three teams each to play a single round-robin.Ten teams are competing in a single league format and play each other home and away.
